Three Minute Sydney, aftermath
A big thank you to everybody who came out to see my Three Minute Sydney presentation at the launch of the inaugural Creative Sydney festival. The above is the wall-sized projection that played as I presented my perspective of Sydney as framed by my experiences working with comics. (Thanks to comickers Ben Hutchings and Dave Blumenstein for the video tips!) There was a great vibe on the night with the MCA packed to capacity and light sculptures and projects transforming all of Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Opera House for the Vivid Sydney Festival.
Tonight, the MCA stays open into the night in celebration of Creative Sydney, so I’m excited to check out their new ‘Avoiding Myth and Message: Australian Artists and the Literary World‘ exhibition, which features poetry, video pieces and zines, including a range from Vanessa Berry.
