A smorgasbord of 2-colour Risograph prints from your favourite Jacky Winter artists!

The Risograph is an odd and unique form of printing. It combines various printing technologies such as mimeograph, photocopying, screen printing and offset lithography to produce a signature-style, similar to that of a silkscreen, but with more ‘character’. This Japanese technology uses environmentally friendly soy based inks and for these prints we are also using a carbon neutral, 100% recycled, archival paper.
All works will be in limited editions of 10 for sale at 50.00 each, with a percentage of each sale being donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) for the Haiti crisis.

In other news, the iNQ Chat 3g social mobile’s been released in the UK and Hong Kong in time for Christmas. The phone features some of my artwork on the box and the cards inside, here’s a video of the unboxing and some photos of a kiosk store in Westfields London.

Here’s an illustration from earlier this year for this week’s Illustration Friday. The museum display for which this was created is coming down this week, so it seems fitting to show it once more when the topic crossed my attention.

And finally, thanks to everybody who came out to see my display at the Finders Keepers market x Happenstance Magazine Art Mill, I had a fantastic response!

Thanks to everyone who cheered on Skilltester Sydney at last Sunday’s Nighttime Performance Space event at Carriageworks. I was very happy with how it all came together. For the curious, there are a handful of snaps here.

LA’s Gallery Nucleus has kindly invited me to contribute to their benefit show for the American Red Cross, ‘Power in Numbers‘. The show features 100 original artworks, all 5″x7″, at $100 each. There are some stellar artists in the lineup, including Fernanda Cohen, Aya Kakeda and McBess, who I had the fortune of sitting down with the last time I was visiting London and giving me the kind of talking to any young illustrator needs!
